To help us grow as a club we have put a lot of effort into developing a number of coaches. These people volunteer their time and expertise to teach people the fundamentals of archery.
I guess some people reading this might think that this is fairly simple. Put an arrow onto the string of a bow, pull it back and then let it go, and they are right. However, if you want to hit the target in front of you safely, there is a little more to it than that.
To help people master those extra bits we run a six week coaching session for beginners. This will cost you the princely sum of $60, and trainees use Club gear during the lessons. When you have completed the course and met some qualifying standards, we will then even help you with advice to get your own gear if you want to continue.
The course is 6 weeks long, 1 day a week (usually on Saturday early afternoon). It will take approximated 1 hour on the day. Anyone from the age of 12 and up can attend the course.
